Frequently asked questions

Q: Why record your Wedding?

The memory of your Wedding day will be a very happy one, which you and all your family will want to remember - and what better way to ensure this than to have a DVD to record the occasion? By its very nature, a wedding is a very busy event and many scenes, moments and details can get overlooked or missed. When the party is over, there is no better way to relive the day, its theatre and its setting, its energy and its atmosphere, its laughter and its emotion, and most importantly the love and goodwill that resonates during a wedding day that only a film can bring alive. It is our job to ensure that you can keep this record for you and your family for years to come.

Q: What is included in the Package?

This depends on which option you choose, but generally the DVD starts with preparations for the wedding, which can include the rehearsal, the bride getting ready, the church being decorated and the Ushers' briefing. Arrival of guests at the church, arrival of the bride and groom, the full ceremony, signing of the register, movement to the reception, cake cutting and speeches are all skilfully captured. Evening entertainment can also be included - and of course, throwing the bouquet and going away.

Q: What extras will I have to pay?

  1. There is a mileage charge to cover motoring costs; currently 45p per mile.
  2. If your reception is far from the Church, we may need to bring a second car, in which case there will be an additional mileage charge.
  3. This depends on the option chosen; if there is a request for further coverage or timings run awry, there is a charge of £75 for each additional hour.
  4. We ask for a booking fee (refundable against the final invoice) of £250 when you book us for your Wedding; the balance is to be paid before we post the DVDs to you.

Q: How long after the Wedding can we order extra copies?

We keep the master copies for 10 years. This can be extended on request.

Q: How much do you walk about in Church?

Not at all, which is the reason we prefer to have 2 cameras in the Church; one at the back and one at the front, both static and situated unobtrusively. All cameras have excellent long distance lenses, so there is no need to embarrass your guests by intruding with a camera too near them or obscure their view of the proceedings. If it is necessary to move at all (as an example, for the signing of the Register) we edge our way around the side of the Church during a suitable moment.
